Roleplaying games have brought me many friends over the years both as player and as GM. Not just at home, but at conventions as well such as Origins, Gencon, and Con on the Cob. I've also made a lot of friends during my time in gaming development from RedBrick Limited to LLC to FASA Games Inc. to #DramaScape to the #GamesPublishersGuild.
Without roleplaying games I wouldn't be able to manage my Social Anxiety Disorder (SAD) as well. It also helped me with public speaking, otherwise there would have been no way I could have did a speech in front of 200 people while in college.
