Joshua Goldstein adopted the Scurillian hoping to use the Scurillian's known mathematical aptitude to help build his chronometer and tried teaching Kahoola after work. Instead of studying by day, the restless Kahoola was much more interested in learning how to fight.  Rather than an assistant, she became more of a guard for The Clockwork House.

Player Name: Sam
Character Name: Felicity
Race: Atani
Archetype: Thief
Hindrances: Curious, Wanted (m), All Thumbs, Weak (R)
Notable Edges: Thief, Assassin, Acrobatics, Really Dirty Fighter
Background: Felicity was expelled from Maroa for stealing carroway fruit. Thefts in another city (TBD) have left her with the Wanted minor hindrance. Her current heist has been casing The Clockwork House in part because of her Curious hindrance. She is fascinated by the chronometer, Joshua Goldstein's obsession. So far, she has been unwilling to tangle with Kahoola to obtain it.

INTERLUDE (What Cyrus did last session)

Cyrus Black repaired the three longboats that made it back from Dunich. It required an entire timber space from the ship's hold. Cyrus found 900 pieces of eight in the dinghies as well as a journal written in broken English. It detailed a former slave's escape from Jomba Town after the town was taken over by European slavers. He fled to Dunich for sanctuary, but he was sacrificed by the transforming half-octopon citizens of Dunich. Cyrus informed Captain Red Pirate Roberts of the situation. As a former slave, he wanted to bring freedom to the people of Jomba Town.

[Cyrus advanced and learned Linguist, gaining an understanding of many languages including reading and writing English and Masaquani. Thus getting over his first barrier to being a merchant, the language barrier.]

Day 195
PLACE: TUCK, TARATOS
WEATHER: SUNNY

La Arcadia sailed to Tuck. As soon as they arrived, a young Scurillian woman named Kahoola persuaded them to come to The Clockwork House and speak to Joshua Goldstein.
At The Clockwork House, Cyrus talked with Joshua in Hebrew and learned the situation. Joshua Goldstein needed a ship to calibrate his chronometer by telling the time at noon at three points in Caribdus, Brigandy Bay, the northern tip of Torath-Ka, and Kiera. After they accepted the mission for the reward of the first chronometer manufactured, Joshua Goldstein sent Kahoola with them to protect the prototype.
Suddenly, an Atani named Felicity entered into The Clockwork House.  She explained that she needed to join the crew of La Arcadia. Captain Red Pirate Roberts wasn't completely convinced especially of the timing of her arrival, but let her board the ship anyway.

Day 196
PLACE: CARESIA, TARATOS
WEATHER: SUNNY

Cyrus attempted to persuade the people of Caresia to take the side of the Spanish Guild but was unable to get them to leave their neutral position. He headed to The Crown tavern and overheard a conversation about Dag Dalt between a couple of captains. He caroused with them and learned that the second captain's name was Lars Bjornsson, a Norwegian captain and that Dag Dalt was the owner of The Crown
Meanwhile, the rest of the group headed to The One-Eyed Jax and caroused. The crew drank and told tales about Unk's stupidity and cowardice as well as his great strength and compassion. They celebrated the dead red man for his flaws and his merits.
Kahoola gambled and discovered a Grael named Hrek was cheating with cards up his sleeves. Hrek cried after being told they would tell Jax and he gave Kahoola a golden ring and her money back.

Day 197
PLACE: CARESIA, TARATOS
WEATHER: SUNNY

Heading back to La Arcadia from The Crown, a parrot landed on Cyrus's shoulder. Cyrus was quite entertained by the parrot mimicking the words that he said. He fed the bird some crackers once he got back to the ship. Then the parrot started talking.
     "Where shall we bury it?"
     "By the old tree stump."
     "We need a marker."
"Just carve a cross on it."
The group searched around the outskirts of Caresia and found the tree stump. The crew used their picks and shovels to dig out a treasure chest. Felicity unlocked the chest with a wry grin and said, "See, I told you I would be useful."
Inside the chest, the group found 1,000 pieces of eight, a small leather bag filled with white powder, a wooden carroway statue of a bearded mariner, and a golden triangle.

Day 198
PLACE: THE PIRATE'S SEA
WEATHER: SUNNY

La Arcadia headed north towards New Madrid. A couple of razorwing swarms were spotted. Horventerous cast blast to split one swarm and then cast a second blast to kill the smaller swarm as Cyrus shot the other small swarm with cannon fire. Ricardo dispersed the second swarm with zephyr
A great white shark appeared in the water and feasted upon the charred remains of the razorwing swarms floating in the water.

Day 198
PLACE: THE PIRATE'S SEA
WEATHER: SUNNY

The great white shark was following La Arcadia. The sailors refused to fish. Cyrus fished anyway and the great white shark broke his line and stole his catch. He barely held on to the bulwark and stayed out of the shark's maw as it jumped up at him.

Day 199-207
PLACE: NEW MADRID, SPRITH

The group got back to New Madrid with about a week to spare. Grande Alcalde Rodrico Pires paid the group 5,000 pieces of eight for the timber they managed to get and put it right to work building more ships. He convinced the group to bring La Arcadia to the fight by promising them their choice of loot. The group wanted Byron Baltimus's diary and decided to join the battle.
Horventerous returned to the New Madrid Fencing Academy and learned the Florentine edge from training with Julio Ramirez as payment for healing his arm.
Cyrus bought an impressive formal suit and then stayed a night at the El Grande Posada. He continued to carouse while looking for contacts willing to sell goods for him.
Felicity found the Clocktower. She climbed it and was shocked when it rang. She jumped off and glided around town, seeing an aerial view of the bull fighting arena from the sky. She wandered to the New Madrid Church. Cardinal Iago Torres attempted to convert her to Christianity and insisted upon baptism. After a few days of visiting, Felicity was banished from the church as the Cardinal was tired of her incessant questions and obvious unwillingness to join the church. She stole a small golden chalice on her way out.
Captain Red Pirate Roberts had Felicity help her procure cannonballs and gunpowder for the coming battle. While she was there at the market, Felicity fenced the bag of opium powder for 120 pieces of eight in a back alley.
Kahoola gambled a bit at El Hoyo and got 200 pieces of eight from a table. She used it to carouse.

Day 207-Day 220
PLACE: NEW MADRID, SPRITH TO CUWAYO

The Spanish Armada and privateer allies had gathered a fleet of 201 ships including La Arcadia. The grand fleet headed south for Baltimus. Even with favorable winds it would take weeks for them to reach Cuwayo.

Day 221
PLACE: THE PIRATE SEA
WEATHER: RAINY

The British East India Company tried to ambush the Spanish Guild Armada in between Taratos and Cuwayo. The tactic failed as they were spotted before they could move to attack. The British East India Company had a mere 45 ships to the Spanish Guild's 201.
Horventerous wreaked havoc on British East India Company ships and the Spanish Armada lost only 20 ships to a loss of 40 ships. 5 ships managed to slip away and retreat to Baltimus. The Battle of Cuwayo was a major victory for The Spanish Guild.
The great white shark that had been following La Arcadia stayed to feast on the dying and the dead.

Day 222-225
PLACE: THE PIRATE SEA TO BALTIMUS

The Spanish Armada fleet sailed south and west to Baltimus.

Day 226
PLACE: BALTIMUS, CUWAYO
WEATHER: FOGGY

Horventerous and Natsu Nara cast heavy bolts of water and earth at Company ships. The Spanish Guild lost 20 ships for 30 British East India Company ships. Through the fog, a reinforcement of twenty pirate "privateers" joined the attack on Baltimus.

[Ellen played Here Comes the Cavalry, regaining a token.]

Horventerous and Natsu Nara cast heavy bolts of water and earth at Company ships. The Spanish Guild lost 60 ships to eliminate the last of the British East India Company fleet.

The remaining ships landed and dropped off 4,000 marines to fight 1,700 Baltimus defenders. Horventerous took the lead casting fire bolts at soldiers with his scepter of fire and using his devil's eye to force entrenched enemies to withdraw. Natsu Nara cast earth cannonballs to crush enemy soldiers. The Spanish marines pushed the British East India Company soldiers to the Baltimus manor at a cost of 1,000 troops to kill 1,200 entrenched enemy soldiers.

At Baltimus manor, it cost 500 more Spanish marines their lives to rout the remaining British East India Company forces.

At Baltimus manor, the group looted 10,000 pieces of eight, a half weight leather armor suit, a tome of storm, and Byron Baltimus's journal.

[Summer played Windfall.]

The group learned the names of the three Sea Hags and their sister. Horventerous and Red Pirate Roberts remembered the vision of The Maiden they had seen when they gathered the water from Earth. She had told them they needed the Sword of King Amemnus, the heart of the last Archmage, and that which the Krakens have lost.
